Model shoot - Goldwell colourzoom competition

I had to do a shoot for Mia Crous, a young very talented hairdresser from Durbanville. Basically the competition is held every year, and every year there is a different theme. This year the theme was “elemental” You have to cut, dye and style the models hair, and come up with a costume to fit with the theme. This was yet again an awesome project for me to capture in studio.

Did some product shots for BlocShop. Pretty cool product- in a nutshell….its a ottoman/coffee table/small mattress. Its a brilliant concept….your coffee table can change into a sleepover mattress in 2 minutes without breaking a sweat.

Model shoot - Saumya

Saumya contacted me out of the blue to do a shoot of her in studio… she was one of the finalists for the Mrs India South African beauty pageant to be held in Durban in August 2018. She was the only contestant from Cape Town. She needed some professional photos of her in various colourful outfits. Needless to say, it was a feast for the eyes…..the natural beauty and all the bright colours was so much fun to work with.

Product photography - Marice Rooibos products

This was such a nice product shoot for me, the owner and creator gave me creative license for the photos of her proudly South African rooibos products. Marice specializes in making high quality soap from organic Rooibos and other essential oils. She is situated in the heart of Rooibos world, Clanwilliam. All soaps and products are hand made.

Wedding: Roxanne & Nick - Century City clubhouse - 30 Dec '17

Roxanne and Nick tied the knot the second last day of the year...and a very hot day it was! The problem with December weddings, is the sun only sets at about 9pm in the evening! We still managed to capture some awesome photos of this couple.

Product photography - Fatsak

This shoot was a little bit of a challenge, mainly because of the size of the products I was working with. We had a lot of fun shooting these and I just wished I could fit one into my camera bag ;-)  I can really recommend a Fatsak to chill/sit/sleep on. Produced in Cape Town according to an environmentally-friendly manufacturing process and fair working conditions for its employees, FatSak rapidly became a modern home must-have.

Sharne turns 30

Had the privelgede of capturing Sharne's 30th birthday party at Karmanel function venue in Joostenberg vlakte. She planned the decor and everything herself, and the detail was insane. Everything looked beautiful!
