Each experience chosen is unique, informative and takes you on a wonderful, artisanal journey through the heart of Stellenbosch. Your guide will show you these gems where you can savour the delicacies that have been passionately created for you. Each leisurely private guided walking tour of the old town centre is a wonderful experience with lots of information and interesting facts.

So when I followed them around morning to capture some images for them, it was so much fun, and so informative! I felt like a tourist in my own city. I realised again that morning how lucky we are staying in Cape Town with all these wonder towns surrounding us. I can highly recommend this walking food tour for anyone, lots of fun!

Product shoot - Riccolah

Beautiful ceramics embody artistry and tradition, blending form and function with timeless elegance. Ronet vd Walt’s pieces tell a story through delicate curves, vibrant glazes, and intricate patterns. From handcrafted bowls to ornate vases, ceramics capture culture and creativity, transforming simple clay into enduring beauty that enriches homes and hearts alike.

I fell in love with these beautiful pieces of art from the first time I saw them. Was only a pleasure to capture these dramatic images for my client.

Product shoot - FlickInc

Flick Inc. was born from Frances Kierman’s passion for whimsical art inspired by South Africa’s natural beauty. As an illustrator and glass and ceramic artist, Frances blends traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, drawing from interior design, fashion, and contemporary trends.

Starting as Flick Glass Studios and My China Ceramics, the brand now offers handcrafted products that add joy and colour to everyday life. All Flick Inc. items are produced in their Muizenberg studio by Frances and a team of five artisans, ensuring quality and authenticity.

I took photos of the Dichroic Glass Earrings showcasing and captivating colour play unique to dichroic glass. "Dichroic" means "two-coloured," where light passing through appears as one colour while reflected light shows another. These dynamic earrings are created by layering vaporized metal oxides on glass, shifting hues from every angle. You can only elevate your style with their vibrant, ever-changing sparkle.

After the challenge of capturing the glass earrings and their unique way of changing colour, I moved over to the porcelain stud earrings. Each piece is meticulously crafted with care and attention to detail. Hand-rolled, cut, and fired, these earrings are adorned with intricate designs painted by hand using fine glaze and 22kt gold lustre. Combining exquisite artistry with a touch of elegance, these porcelain stud earrings are perfect for adding a unique and sophisticated flair to any outfit.

You can shop these beautiful pieces of art (to add to your wardrobe) at their online store www.flickinc.co.za or visit their physical shop at The Watershed at the V&A Waterfront

The perfect cake doesn't exist...or does it??

Product photography is essential for selling your product, be it high end jewely or a carrot cake! Visuals are the first impression customers get of your product when they open up your web browser or social media page. High-quality images communicate professionalism, build trust, and highlight details that words alone cannot capture. You should almost be able to taste that cake when you see the image.

Clear, appealing photos showcase features, textures, and usability, helping buyers imagine owning the product. In e-commerce, where customers cannot touch or test items, photography bridges that gap by creating emotional connection and confidence. Strong visuals also enhance marketing campaigns, social media presence, and brand identity. Simply put, compelling product photography doesn’t just display your product—it persuades, engages, and ultimately drives sales by turning interest into purchase.

Carli & Tanya came all the way from Windhoek to come and tie the knot in beautiful Cape Town. The original plan was to get married in Kalkbay, but the weekend before was the major storms in Cape Town and the week before that the freak wave that hit the coast of the Western Cape. Blan B- which was a pretty awesome venue, was the stunning Kaap Mooi luxury guest house in Tamboerskloof. It was a stunning day and beautiful intimate wedding! We took some fun photos in Bo Kaap and Cape Quarter.

Product shoot - Sutras Gin

Sutra's Gin is a craft gin by Free State born Kamohelo Moleleki that captures and shows off the splendour of African botanicals. Was quite a challenge to capture the cocktail shots and make it look nice and fresh, but I think the stylist and I did a pretty good job.

Product shoot - Nature's Pharmatrophia

Herbal medicine or phytomedicine is as old as mankind itself. Dating back to the dawn of humanity, we have been using the plants around us as remedies for what ails us, from treating the symptoms of the common cold and healing every day ills to lifting our moods and improving our state of mind.  This has evolved into the modern phytopharmaceutical industry which has consolidated the practices and traditions of people across the world, creating a range of treatments and medicines derived exclusively from plants or parts of plants.
