Had a fun shoot in studio with Ubuntu Traditional Balms. The legacy of Ubuntu Traditional Balms started in a humble and small family owned pharmacy in 1948. The famous community pharmacy
served her community well and the chemist formulated the balms to the patient's needs. The balms gained popularity and it proved to work for all the ailments.
I just loved doing this product shoot for Skin Creamery, love the simple and effective packaging. In a world flooded with information and choice, Skin Creamery exists to simplify skin care, stripping bare your daily routine to the essentials that naturally nourish and nurture the skin. The Skin Creamery ethos is to be kind to the earth, and kind to your skin. The range was founded in 2014.
I did a shoot a while ago for Smidwerk in Paarl. Shooting such big product require quite a bit of thought…but Im very happy with the results. Smidwerk sources and manufactures modern contemporary furniture using local materials. They apply the crafting skills to produce fine furniture with an industrial theme using steel, solid wood, engineered stone and glass mediums.
I did a shoot a while ago for Gepetto- life in wood. Love all of their products. They do everything from little wood plates & bowls to candle holders and fridge magnets. The online store will be up and running soon.
Simorne contacted me for a special kind of shoot…a birthday shoot she wanted to do for herself for her 30th birthday. She actually joined me, on her birthday in studio. Was so much fun to do a shoot with her and just have a lot of fun and laughs.

I had to do a shoot for Mia Crous, a young very talented hairdresser from Durbanville. Basically the competition is held every year, and every year there is a different theme. This year the theme was “elemental” You have to cut, dye and style the models hair, and come up with a costume to fit with the theme. This was yet again an awesome project for me to capture in studio.
Did some product shots for BlocShop. Pretty cool product- in a nutshell….its a ottoman/coffee table/small mattress. Its a brilliant concept….your coffee table can change into a sleepover mattress in 2 minutes without breaking a sweat.
Saumya contacted me out of the blue to do a shoot of her in studio… she was one of the finalists for the Mrs India South African beauty pageant to be held in Durban in August 2018. She was the only contestant from Cape Town. She needed some professional photos of her in various colourful outfits. Needless to say, it was a feast for the eyes…..the natural beauty and all the bright colours was so much fun to work with.
